Who can have Wrinkle Relaxers?
Each treatment is tailored to the individual and requires a thorough assessment by a healthcare professional to determine its suitability. While most individuals are suitable candidates for wrinkle relaxers, a consultation is necessary prior to scheduling the treatment. However, certain individuals may not be suitable for these treatments, including:
- Pregnant or Breastfeeding Women: The safety of wrinkle-relaxing treatments during pregnancy or breastfeeding has not been established, so they are generally not recommended.
- Individuals with Neuromuscular Disorders: People with conditions such as myasthenia gravis, Lambert-Eaton syndrome, or ALS may experience increased risks due to the effects of the treatment on muscle activity.
- People with Active Skin Infections: Individuals with active skin infections or inflammation in the area to be treated should wait until the condition has resolved before undergoing treatment.
How long do wrinkle relaxers take to become visible?
With wrinkle relaxers, initial results typically start to become visible within 3 to 7 days after treatment. The full effects usually develop by around 2 weeks post-treatment.
How long do the results last?
The effects of wrinkle relaxers typically last between 3 to 6 months, depending on the individual and the area treated. Over time, the treated muscles gradually regain their activity, and the wrinkles may reappear.
