Volume Enhancing Injectables for your Natural Beauty

At The Cosmetic Haus, we offer volume-enhancing injectable treatments that are designed to support facial proportions and address age-related volume changes. These treatments may assist in areas such as the lips, cheeks, chin, jawline, and under-eye region, depending on clinical suitability.

Administered by qualified healthcare professionals, each treatment begins with a comprehensive consultation and facial assessment to determine the most appropriate and individualised approach. We focus on subtle refinement and balance, aiming to support your natural features with precision and care.

All treatments are prescription-based and require a full consultation to assess clinical suitability. Results vary between individuals.

FAQ for Volume Enhancement

We regularly get asked about our procedures, so we have put together questions we get asked on a regular basis. If there is something else you would like to know, please get in touch!

How long does volume enhancement last?

The longevity of volume enhancement depends on the product used and the treatment area. Generally, results last between 6 to 18 months. Areas with more movement, like lips, may require touch-ups sooner than areas with less movement.

Is the procedure painful?

You will receive numbing cream before the procedure to ensure comfort. Some clients may feel slight pressure or a pinching sensation during the injection.

What can I expect during the recovery process?

There may be mild swelling, redness, or bruising at the injection sites, which typically subsides within a few days. Most clients can return to their daily activities immediately after treatment. We recommend avoiding strenuous activities, alcohol, and excessive heat exposure for at least 24-48 hours post-treatment.

What are the chances of getting a vascular occlusion?

A rare but serious complication of volume enhancement is vascular occlusion, which occurs when filler is accidentally injected into a blood vessel, blocking blood flow. The chances of this happening are approximately 1 in 100,000 when performed by a skilled practitioner. However, it’s important to know that untreated vascular occlusion can result in skin necrosis, scarring, or vision loss. Our practitioners are highly trained to recognise the early signs and have protocols in place to manage it, including the use of hyaluronidase to dissolve the filler immediately if necessary.

How should I prepare for my volume enhancment appointment?

We recommend avoiding blood-thinning medications, such as aspirin or ibuprofen, for at least a week before treatment to reduce the risk of bruising. Avoid alcohol and smoking 24 hours prior. Please inform us of any allergies or medical conditions beforehand.

How soon will I see results?

You will notice immediate improvements after your volume enhancement treatment, though final results may take a few days to fully settle as swelling subsides.
